Franchise Rules
The following guidelines are expected of each franchise holder and their affiliates during the current hockey season as members of the Belle Tire Hockey Club. These are mandatory requirements and are conditions of being franchise holders.Attendance of yourself, or team representative must be present at each (2) two general membership meetings that will be held in August for the season kick off and the second in April. Actual location dates and times will be signed and shared with each team.
A copy of your USA registered roster must be submitted in September. Rosters will remain on file in the Belle Tire Hockey Club Office. All teams are to forward a copy to Director John Kay.All teams (including AAA) are required to participate (play) in the Belle Tire Hockey Club Summer Classic Hockey Tournament. Representatives from each team are required to assist if needed in some capacity during the Belle Tire Summer Hockey Classic.Franchise requirements:Deposits A & AA. $1,500 per team plus $100 for each player over 15 quota players.
Deposits AAA. $2000 per team plus $100 for each player over 15 quota players.
Deposits B (House). $100 per team receiving goalie equipment.
All equipment will be issued by the end of September. Equipment deposits must be paid prior to that date in order to receive your equipment. All equipment must be returned in proper condition (washed & repaired) by the third Wednesday in April in order to receive your deposit refund. After that date a $25 per day fine will be deducted from your deposit until your equipment is returned.

All players must sell $200 in raffle tickets for the Belle Tire Hockey Club Raffle. In addition – All items of clothing must be ordered through Belle Tire Hockey Club at Dees Sport Shop 586-772-9395.
No team is to contract with any other facility. If so, it must be approved by John Kay.
You are responsible for the contract ice if you use it or not. The rink will assist you in selling your ice. However, if it is not sold, it is your team’s responsibility to pay for that contracted ice, unless you have been told at your rink that ice can be turned in.
A monthly team financial statement is required by all teams and must be turned in by the first of each month to the Belle Tire Hockey Club.
If for any reason a team violates one or more of these rules that team will be notified of the infraction(s) and will be immediately placed in the review process. Actions that could be taken can include removal from the franchise.
Franchises are a privilege, not a right and there for could be revoked at any time. Please remember this is your day to day operations of your team. It is emphasized that your behavior, participation and your compliance with the above rules determines your status with your franchise.
